CHA 2010

Hi everyone!
We have made it to CHA 2010! Meryle and I are super excited and what we have been seeing our first day. This convention is HUGE. Meryle and I only walked 1/4 of the event yesterday and we still have so much to see. Today we have a better plan, and we have all day tomorrow too.

So yesterday we saw many cool new items. I have video's to post but of course my windows movie maker is not working properly and trying to fix it now.

I promise I will either post the raw videos or the much nicer ones tomorrow morning. You will see something.

I will do a recap with the video's also so you know what it is all about, and price etc.

Wish us luck for day 2!

Digital Scrapbooking...

I love the art of scrapbooking both tradional and digital. Lately I have been playing with PSE (photoshop elements) and love it.
I created this great "Postcard" look for a page that I will put in my traditional scrapbook. It prints 4x6 so its perfect. I used a stock photo for the background photo of the vegas luxor, I used a photo I had taken from the bellagio water show, and of course my friends and I for the actual photo of us.

The whole template I got from scrapgirls.com they have several different templates to choose from. You do need to know PSE before purchasing, I had some problems but now I know how to use these.

Enjoy!

Paper Wreath

So here is my Paper Craft!

I did not come up with this idea by myself. I have cased it from:http://papercrave.com/paper-wreath-tutorials/

I used 30 sheets of 12x12 paper (Stampin Up retired paper used for this project)
Cut the paper in to 6x1" strips of paper.
I used a bone folder to make the ends curly on both ends of the the paper.
Then I attached it to a styrofoam ring with pins that is it!
I will be making a few of these for the holidays for my window.
Enjoy and have fun!
